Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We offer appointments as soon as you need them, including same-day visits!
What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major insurance plans. If you have specific questions, please contact one of our offices.
How can I prevent foot and ankle problems?
While some conditions are simply genetic, you can avoid (or prevent) further problems by wearing properly fitting shoes, maintaining a healthy weight, practicing good foot hygiene, and engaging in regular exercise. Stretching and strengthening exercises for the foot and ankle, along with avoiding high-impact activities without appropriate footwear, can also help reduce the risk of injury.
What should I expect during my first visit to a foot and ankle doctor?
During your first visit, our doctor will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, and conduct a physical examination of your feet and ankles. We may also order imaging tests, such as X-rays or MRIs, to determine a diagnosis and discuss an appropriate treatment plan for your needs.
How can I treat (and avoid) ingrown toenails?
To treat and prevent ingrown toenails on your own, it’s recommended to soak your feet in warm water, make sure to wear properly fitting shoes, and always trim your toenails nails straight across.
